The AADA welcomed the opportunity to respond to the Net Zero Fund consultation. In this submission, the AADA reinforces the importance of the Net Zero Fund in meeting transport emissions targets, while highlighting the impact of the New Vehicle Efficiency Standard (NVES) on franchised new car dealers. The AADA proposes extending the remit of the Fund to include financial incentives that would reduce cost pressures on the industry and support consumer uptake of EVs.
