The AADA welcomed the opportunity to make a submission in response to the Jobs and Skills Australia Act 2022 Legislated Review. The submission underscores the need for comprehensive training and clearer career pathways, including recognition of OEM training and better alignment between industry requirements, workforce readiness, and the national training system, to help tackle the shortage of skilled automotive technicians.
