The AADA welcomed the opportunity to respond to the inquiry into cyber security for small to medium sized businesses and organisations. The submission highlights the range of stakeholders dealers interact with, exposing them to risks from systems controlled by larger organisations, while facing increasing expectations around their own cyber security. The AADA, therefore, calls for practical and proportionate security requirements, clearer Government guidance and support, better access to expertise, reduced regulatory duplication, and clearer responsibilities across digital supply chains.
