The Australian Automotive Dealer Association (AADA) welcomed the opportunity to provide a submission in response to the ‘Unfair trading practices protections for small businesses’ consultation paper. The AADA strongly supports the introduction of a broad statutory prohibition on unfair trading practices (UTPs) and submits that such protections must extend to all franchisees.
