AADA CEO, David Blackhall, visited Canberra for the final Parliamentary sitting fortnight of the winter period. David met with elected representatives from both of the major political parties, including members of the committee holding an inquiry into the Franchising Code of Conduct.

The primary message being delivered was the need for the development of an Automotive Code of Conduct to bring some balance to the relationship new car Dealers have with vehicle brands. AADA members can be assured that their message is being heard not only at senior levels of Government, but also with the Opposition – David had the opportunity to brief the Leader of the Opposition Bill Shorten on our issues.
